Best Shot Monday

This Sunday we went to a service honoring local public safety and emergency workers. Since The Hubby and The Oldest are both fire and rescue personnel, we were excited to attend. After the service, the kids got to check out the helicopters, fire trucks, ambulances, and command trucks on the church grounds. The highlight of the day, though, were the bloodhounds! Especially for Quatro, who's an animal lover anyway. My Best Shot today is of Quatro and his new buddy Ginger the Bloodhound. Oh, if we could have adopted Ginger, he'd be in heaven!

And as an added bonus, here's an action shot of him running to the Air Med copter.

And finally, a shot of the three non-emergency kids in the family, sitting on the newest fire truck from their dad & brother's department. Pip Squeak's not smiling because it was boiling hot outside and well, he's just not all that impressed with fire trucks any more. Being able to climb on them whenever you want sort of dulls the thrill. For him anyway.

As always, if you'd like to see some interesting and beautiful shots, check out Best Shot Monday.

The dogs always steal the show, don't they? My girls would have also been all over them.

Likin' that action shot though. That's cool.
