Special Exposure Wednesday

This week I'm posting a little "flashback" for Special Exposure Wednesday.

That's my Pip Squeak when he was only six years old. He had just completed his first ride across the lake in a specially adapted ski and he LOVED it, as you can tell by the grin. We participated in Wee Can Ski for several years. The kids (all four of them) enjoyed inner tube rides and fun on the sandy beach as well as BBQ lunches. It was a terrific way to spend a hot summer day. And all of the special participants earned a trophy for their efforts! Pip Squeak was extremely proud that he actually got to water ski.

Photos where a child's happiness and feeling of success shine through (like this one) are simply a joy. Love it!
