If you're ever in the market for a home, here's a tip that will make things much easier on you and your real estate agent. Put a pen and a small notebook in your car, or better yet your purse! That way, when you pick up a home book while waiting at the beauty salon or drive through a neighborhood and that perfect house catches your eye, you can jot down a little information. Such as, what book you found it in, what page, who has the home listed, possibly the MLS number if that's in the ad. Or if you're driving by, it would be a good idea to scribble the address or at the very least the neighborhood and the name of the company who's sign is in the yard.
When I receive phone calls from people who are excited about a house and want to know more, I really do want to help them! You wouldn't believe how many people phone the office and want to know "How much is the blue house with black shutters?" Or they call from their car, having just passed by the the house of their dreams, but they can't remember what street it was on. "It was two houses down from a school and it had a dogwood tree in the yard." Which school? What neighborhood? Helpful information, surely.
Unfortunately, there's no way for me to search for and retrieve information for a specific brick house near Wal Mart. I can find you ALL the brick houses near Wal Mart. I have no clue which one you want. Especially if you don't know which Wal Mart you were near.
